Seasonal Fruits and Veggies

With autumn right around the corner, you'll want to check out some fresh produce that's in season. In the fall, stuff like apples, pears, sweet potatoes, and figs are good, so it;s good to take advantage of them. Buying things that are in season is the best way to get the most out of each season, and let's you explore the different types of foods that are surprisingly delicious. If you want to grow your own produce, now is the time to do so. It's just starting to cool down here in Zone 6 (that's how you can find out when's the best planting season) but still fairly warm. So grab that 99 cent pack of seeds and starting digging!

Here's some produce that's great to grow for the fall:

  • Broccoli

  • Cabbage
